About Petrina

Every Digital Journey Begins Somewhere

Some journeys begin with a clear map.

Others begin with a question, a little curiosity, and the courage to try something unfamiliar.

Mine began with a desire to learn.

I didn’t have every tool, every answer, or the opportunity to enrol in every course I wanted. But I had something that mattered just as much: a willingness to discover what was possible.

So I began teaching myself.

One search. One tutorial. One mistake. One lesson at a time.

And slowly, what once seemed complicated became familiar. What once felt beyond my reach became something I could understand, practise and eventually share.

That is the heart of Digital With Petrina.

A Decade of Learning, Creating and Growing

For approximately ten years, I’ve explored the world of websites, digital writing, online publishing and content creation.

I taught myself how to work with WordPress.org, build and manage websites, write articles, organise digital content and discover tools that make everyday workflows more manageable.

Along the way, I learned to work with Pinterest, Canva, ChatGPT and publishing tools such as Publer.

Not everything worked the first time.

Some lessons took longer than expected. Some required starting again, asking better questions or finding a simpler way forward.

But each experience taught me something valuable:

Progress doesn’t always arrive in great leaps. Sometimes it grows quietly through the small things we practise every day.

And those small steps, repeated over time, can become real skills.

Why I Created Digital With Petrina

I believe digital knowledge should feel accessible, not intimidating.

There is something deeply rewarding about the moment when a complicated process finally makes sense.

When you publish your first article.

When you understand how a WordPress page works.

When you create a Pinterest pin with intention.

When you discover that a task you once found difficult has become part of your everyday workflow.

Those moments matter.

I created Digital With Petrina to share practical knowledge, thoughtful writing and the lessons I’ve gathered through years of learning by doing.

This is a place where curiosity is welcome, beginners are respected and learning is approached with patience.

You don’t need to know everything before you begin.

You simply need somewhere to start.

Learning Is Not a Race

I have come to believe that we don’t need to measure our progress against someone else’s timeline.

We each begin with different experiences, resources and responsibilities.

What matters is that we continue moving forward.

Some days, progress means completing a project.

Other days, it means understanding one new concept, correcting one mistake or finding the confidence to try again.

Both are worthwhile.

I want the lessons I share here to reflect that belief: clear enough for beginners, practical enough to apply and thoughtful enough to encourage continued learning.

Because knowledge becomes more meaningful when we put it into practice.

From Learning to Teaching

One of the most meaningful parts of my journey has been discovering that the things I once struggled to understand are now things I can explain to someone else.

That is why I am developing Pinterest Academy by Petrina, a learning community focused on building practical Pinterest and digital publishing skills.

My approach is simple:

Learn It. Practice It. Master the Workflow.

Not through impossible promises or shortcuts, but through understandable lessons, real examples and consistent practice.

I believe confidence grows when learning becomes something we can actually do.

A Personal Invitation

If you’ve arrived here because you want to build a website, improve your writing, understand Pinterest or become more comfortable with digital tools, welcome.

I hope you find something that helps you take your next step.

Perhaps it will be a tutorial that answers a question you’ve been carrying.

Perhaps it will be a new skill that opens another possibility.

Or perhaps it will simply be a reminder that you are allowed to begin before you feel completely ready.

I am still learning, still creating and still discovering new ways to grow.

And I’m glad to share what I learn along the way.

One small step. One useful skill. One growing confidence at a time.

Warmly,

Petrina
